Hockney Style Joiners

What's up and hello to all of you guys out there that are reading this. This is going to be the 2nd post that has been written and published in 2016. Instead of talking about my 2016 goals, we are going to talk about David Hockney's photomontages and of course my photomontages! This paragraph specifically is going to talk about how David Hockney's photomontages are different from my photomontages. What you have been waiting for has been stalled by me so that will be enough talking for me so you can get to the blog post! One way that David Hockney's photomontages are different form mine are that he is inspired to do a photomontage of anything that he sees or wants to do. For our photomontages, Mr. Sandrel chose what we had to do for our photomontages while David Hockney, he got to decide what he wanted to make a photomontage out of. Another difference is the style that David Hockney has to make photomontages than the style we have to make our photomontages. For example, David Hockney's photomontages portraits have like faces all around the photo to show difference and we however try to make our photomontages look exactly how the thing would look like in actual life. Also, David Hockney made his photomontages differently than how we made our photomontages. David Hockney spreaded his photos on the ground and make a new picture while we did the same process as David Hockney did but we did the process digitally. Finally, David Hockney's photomontages are different from ours by the way his photomontages come out. His photomontages look sometimes really weird while ours, we try to make it look perfect. This is how David Hockney's photomontages are different from our photomontages. If you want to learn more about David Hockney, press the link that is on David Hockney.

Final Photomontage
Did you know that images can actually show you a positive or negative message?! Well, if you didn't, I will explain to you why images can send positive or negative images. Images can send positive or negative messages because when you look at the picture, it will send a message to your brain. The brain will process what you see and will tell you if that picture sends a positive or negative message. Any image that you see has a message. For example, if the picture has inappropriate content, that would mean that the picture is sending you a negative message. If an image is showing you a forest, it would show you a forest represents peace and that is an example of a positive message. The brain can interpret an image's message so fast, that you can't even count it!!! That is also how fast your brain can think! Not only can images just send positive or negative messages but some characteristic about the image. For example, if you see a picture of a cow, you would see how that can show a message, but it can. A message of a cow would be that no matter how small or bug you are, you can do anything. Pretty much any image can show a message even a snail. To learn more quotes from me, you can select the linked word "Personal Manifesto". That is how images can send positive or negative messages.

I want my final photomontage (the one that has the bike and other things in the image) to show my athleticism and things I do to show that I am an active person. In the image, there are 6 items in my picture. The first item that is in the image is my soccer ball and goalie gloves. My soccer ball and goalie gloves show my athleticism by the positions that I play to support my team to win the game, lose, or even have a tied game. I am mostly goalie in soccer because I am really good in defense and especially in goalie. The second item in the image is a pair of goggles. A pair of goggles shows who I am by when I swim, I will use my goggles to help me see in the water and it shows that I am an active person. The third item in the picture is the football. A football shows my athleticism showing my stamina and skills that I have in running and in catching. The fourth item is a basketball. A basketball represents my athleticism by displaying that I can adjust in very tough situations and I can be aggressive. The fifth item is a bike. My bike shows who I am by I can get through tough times even though what ever I come across is really hard. The final image in my picture is my Frisbee. My Frisbee shows who I am by telling you that throwing power is very strong and I can dive to get the ball. This is all for now folks! My birthday is coming up and guess what day it is on. It is on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!! Hope you have a good Super Bowl Sunday. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

2016 Aspirations

#kmsgt_flower
Hello again for another time and with another blog post! Welcome to the new world of blogging and posting with another year going by and now sailing us into the new year of 2016! I really hope that you had a Merry Merry Christmas and a really Happy New Year. But now what you guy have all been waiting for? The blog post for today!! Today I will describe 5 different goals I have that I will attain in 2016. My first goal is that I will try to make my blog writing longer and better in quality and quantity. I will improve on my blog writing by that I will spend more time on my blog writing and after I am done, I will use the spell check to make sure that my grammar is correct. Another goal that I will attain is that I will try to maintain my grade in all of my subjects and even including my elective classes. I am an A student, but still unexpecting things can happen to me that will cause my grade to have a down fall. For example, I could get distracted or I could lay some slack on my work and then get  bad grade. Thirdly, I want to improve my soccer so that I can be on offense. I want to go on offense because I really want my team to be proud of me, that I can score goals for my team, and also be more helpful because right now, I am only being defense and goalie. My fourth goal is to be closer of becoming an Eagle scout. An Eagle scout is the last rank in Boy Scouts. To get to Boy Scouts, you need to go through Cub Scouts. The ranks for Cub Scouts are Tiger, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and a Webelos. The Boy Scout ranks are Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and then Eagle. The final goal that I will attain is that I will win first place in the 1-15 age category in the Kauai Half Marathon. I will attain this goal by swimming at least ten laps every week, running hard everyday, and bike up steep hills at least three times a week. The goal that I will mostly concentrate on are trying to get first in my age category for the Kauai Half Marathon and to concentrate on  becoming more close of becoming an Eagle Scout. These are five that I will maintain the whole 2016 year!

My most important goal that I have for 2016 is training hard to prepare for the Kauai Half Marathon and trying to get first place for my age category. I chose this goal as the most important because I want my training that I will preform in 2016 to payoff and to show people that know matter how small you are, you can accomplish anything. Last year, I won third in my age category and the other top places were people that were older than me. To prepare, my training will involve to swim at least 15 laps every week, do at least 20 pushups a day, and run everyday(I do this at school). I will do this training until September 4 and that is when the Kauai Marathon is. I could run the Kauai Full Marathon, but I fell that I don't have enough stamina to run all 26 miles while the Kauai Half Marathon is only 13 miles. This is going to be my second run that I will do for the Kauai Marathon and I know more about what I will have to overcome during the run. Last year, I did really good at especially for my first run and there wasn't really much any steep until the last 2 miles of the run. There were at least three steep hills and I was kind of struggling because I was tired out from sprinting and jogging at my fastest pace. So, I gave it all I got and made it through those steep hills. After that I was wondering "How far do I have till the run is done?" I kept on running and then. I see the finish line! The finish line was so close but yet I was tired from runner no up the steep hills. So, I go to the finish line as fast as I can and get the time. Two hours and fourth-nine minutes!!! I was so happy that I finished the "Kauai Half Marathon". That is the goal that I want to accomplish but I will get first place in my age group. This is my most important goal that I have for 2016.

To prepare for this goal(like I have said) I will train really hard for the Kauai Marathon. The training that I will do will involve swimming at least 15 laps every week, do 15 pushups every day, and run everyday(I do this at school because we play a running game at recess and lunch recess). This training I will maintain until  September 4, 2016 and that is when the Kauai Marathon is. My training last year involved swimming 10 laps every week, running everyday, and biking. This year, I am more experienced on the course because last year, I was so confused about the course because they never told you where you go if you are running the Half Marathon or the Full Marathon. Since I was running with my acquaintance, I was staying with him. Until when I was so bored running so slow, I went ahead and I kept on running that pace until I got tired again. This happened on Mile 4 of the Half Marathon. Anywho, I was so scared after I parted with my acquaintance because I didn't know if I was running in the wrong marathon. I kept on running and then on Mile 12, I see a sign that tells which way you go if you are in the Half Marathon or if you are in the Full Marathon. I run in the direction of the Half Marathon sign and turn there. Then it comes to the hills. This part is in the body paragraph and how hard it was. That all for today with the blog post! Hope to post another blog post soon!!! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
